Section 02 · Read before first use
Safety
Keep your eyes closed throughout every session. Never look into the light sources or point them at anyone's eyes.
Have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device · Are under 18
Talk to your doctor or health professional before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have epilepsy or are sensitive to light, take medication or use skincare that increases sensitivity to light (such as some acne treatments, antibiotics or retinoids), or have a skin condition, an open wound, a recent cosmetic procedure, or any changing or unusual mark on your skin.
Using the mask
- No more than 20 minutes in total per day
- Don't use the mask if it's damaged
- Keep it away from water and heat sources
- Keep it out of reach of children
Listen to your skin
- Stop if you feel any discomfort
- Stop and seek advice if you notice irritation
- Choose a lower brightness if high feels too strong
- Follow every step in this manual
This mask is a personal skincare device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Section 03
Your first session
First time? Use timer T1 for a 5 minute test session to see how your skin responds.
Prepare your skin
Start with a clean, dry face, free of makeup and active skincare.
Fit the mask
Place it over your face and adjust the strap so it sits comfortably.
Turn it on
Press and hold the button on the control pod for 2 seconds. Do the same to turn it off.
Choose a mode
Press M on the remote to select your mode.
Relax
Close your eyes and stay within the recommended times. The mask switches itself off when the timer ends.

Modes, timer and brightness

If your skin doesn't take well to high brightness, choose a lower level.
Section 05 · Your ritual
How often, and for how long
Never use the mask for more than 20 minutes in total per day.

Building up to 15 minutes
- Week one: three 10 minute sessions so your skin can adjust
- From week two: 15 minute sessions up to 3 times a week
- 10 minute sessions can continue up to 4 times a week
Section 06 · Hands free
Voice control
Voice control is a convenient extra. The remote is always the main way to operate your mask.
Activate
Briefly press the white button on the control pod.
Speak
Say "Hi Mask", then your command. You have 3 minutes to give commands.
Finish
Voice mode turns off by itself after 3 minutes, or briefly press the white button to exit straight away.

For the best results
- Speak clearly, at a relaxed pace
- Use voice control somewhere fairly quiet
- If a command isn't recognised, use the remote instead

Charging and care
Charging
- Connect the USB C cable to the port on the control pod
- Red light: charging
- Green light: fully charged
- About 3 hours for a full charge
- The mask can't be used while it's charging
Battery
- Up to 40 minutes of light per charge
- Four 10 minute sessions on low
- Three 10 minute sessions on high
- Red indicator on top of the mask: battery is low
- Charge the remote with the same USB C cable
Caring for your mask
- Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth
- No abrasive materials or strong cleaning products
- Never put the mask in water
- Store it in its velvet bag, away from heat

Our 12 month warranty
Your LUM8 Pro Laser Face Mask is covered by a 12 month LUM8 warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, from the date of purchase. To make a claim, email hello@lum8wellness.com with your order number, a description of the problem and a photo if you can. Please contact us before sending anything back.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
